EverKey iButton Support

EverKey Version 2 supports two types of Authorization Devices; Rockey4s and iButtons.  iButtons were introduced in 1994 and Rockey4 support was released in May, 2002.  In December of 2002, iButtons became a specialty order item due to their unpredictable availability.

As indicated in our May, 2007 email to all iButton Customers, the iButtons and Holders are being phased out by the manufacturer due to the age of their fabrication facility, cost of replacement parts and diminished demand.

As of December, 2009, Az-Tech no longer sells the DS1410E Parallel iButton Holder and the DS1425 and DS1991 iButtons. 

Az-Tech will continue to support existing iButton Customers using EverKey Version 2 as long as necessary.
